Yeah, Jaime is quite the inspiration isn't he?!  His passion for food, health and vitality are unrivaled by any other celebrity today in my opinion. And he has this charisma, you just gotta love em. I am so happy you found your Food Awakening and proud of you for taking action.  Just as you become a healthy example for others  In the movie, Joe Cross was the example for Paul, and Paul was the example for his brother and they have been the example for millions.  Remember the 80/20 rule, and just stay focused on thinking about the 20% around you that will someday follow your healthy example.
 
As my stepsister, I know that our Mom & Dad would be very happy we found out in time, that our foods were killing us all, and proud we did something about it.  We can put a stop to it in our own lives first, and then encourage those around us.  The desire to encourage others in itself, works as a motivator for us to become a doer’s with the desire to pay it forward to the next person.
 
You will have times of trials, so just stay focused on the “healthiest” picture of “You” on the inside, causing outside results!  I am so happy that you accepted my invitation to The Food Awakening Party! Thank you for allowing me to post my response and your personal review above on our website.  By the way, take many pictures now.  Pictures of everything: the fridge, cabinets, foods you prepare to eat or drink and of pictures of you.  Nothing will be the same ever again! -Rick

"We changed our Standard American Diet and accepted a nutritious lifestyle of eating "real" foods not "fake" foods. Between Susi and I, we have shed over fifty pounds from our body weight.  However, that is just the outside reaction to our new way of eating some great foods.  There has been a dramatic internal change evident within my medical conditions.

I no longer have my skin disease that I’ve had over 10 years, nor high cholesterol and off the pills.  No longer do I have high Type-2 diabetic blood sugar levels...Yea!  No longer do I snore...good for the marriage!   My lungs and throat inflammation have been reduced to help correct my chronic sleep apnea. Both Susi and my energy levels have increased as well.  My only challenge now is to have my doctor do a Thyroid test.  If it has also corrected itself from eating the right foods, then the doc will remove me from taking that daily Thyroid drug.  I’m researching it through my “Institute for Integrative Nutrition” as one of my specific study reports. There are certain plant based foods, exercises, or supplements that may reduce my Hypothyroid issue.

Inflammation is the main reaction caused by the S.A.D. foods we consume.  Inflammation affects every organ in our body including the brain and our skin.  We also know that it is causes obesity also measured by Body Mass Index (BMI).  Susi and I give credit for our life change to the foods we now eat, the two movies that introduced us to a healthy food lifestyle, and to God for the encouragement to persevere.

As part of my personal course project, I have been hosting lunch and dinner gatherings to watch a couple of insightful documentaries. Over the last year, these movies are credited with changing lives throughout our nation and the world. We just can’t stand by and see what the bad addictive drug we call the "Standard American Diet” is doing to our friends and family.  It too is doing the same to your friends and family. Millions who are changing their eating habits, are also reversing effects of medical problems caused by the S.A.D. food we eat.  These SAD foods are slowly killing us.

We encourage everyone to investigate and learn about the food facts that have been unfolding over the last few years. From there, it is the choice of each individual to react.  And what a great journey it’s been!
